We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and — where applicable to research and clinical trials — with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research and the requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Clinical trial records are retained in line with Australian regulatory requirements; generally for a minimum of 15 years after the end of the trial, and longer where required by sponsors or regulators. Records may need to be made available to auditors, monitors and regulatory authorities.
